Transforming Our Computer Lab into a Makerspace Studio

Our old computer lab TRANSFORMED into a Maker/Tinker/Design studio!  As our campus offers “single-sex classrooms in a co-ed environment,” you can see this space shared by vairous grades and with students from both the boys and girls schools.

Observe the motion of students and how the room is now flexible to meet their hands on learning projects.  Almost all our furniture is on wheels.  The tables are whiteboard tables so the students can draw on them. My favorite feature are the power extension cords coming from the ceiling!  Love that!
